| Just got back in town from disneyland. We were going 24/7 and I didn't really have time to run so now I am going to get back at it. Today I ran on the treadmill. I did 6x600s at 6 pace with 400 jog at 8 pace in between. I did an 800 instead of 600 on the last one. Felt good today |

| I better write my workouts Dow. I keep forgetting them. Ran outside today. Did 2x1mile and .5 hard with 400 jog around 8 minutes in between. First mile was 6:09 (downhill) Second was 6:22 (uphill and downhill) last .5 was 3:00. Today was the first day in a long time I actually felt really good. |

| Ran our city's christmas 5k. Thought it would be warmer so I showed up in shorts and a long sleeve. I should've worn pants bc it was really cold and windy. They changed the course but it was still a loop. Still quite hilly. Splits were 6:20, 6:41, 6:30 and about 25 seconds for the last .8. I showed the course as being slightly short at 3.08. Everyone else showed it at 3.1 or 3.12. (I always go by my garmin) It was hard for me to get in any kind of a rhythm and I was cold the whole time. The wind didn't help. I know I haven't done very much training lately, but I really thought I would have run faster today. Oh we'll. it was nice getting new shoes and 75 gift card, just wish I felt better running 5ks. my plan is to take it easy for a while and then pick things up in Oder to do a late spring/summer marathon. (Marathons are what I really love) |
