had a good run around the neighborhood and on the grass with striders after it wa pretty quiet. went lifting after. then i did some good stretches and rolled with a foam roller later that day: went to the running store today and got some new shoes. it was a tough decission between the kinvara 3s and the altras with support. i really liked both of them, except for the 70 acres the toes get on the altra, but i chose the altras cuz they help with form, and running efficiently. tough decision! i way way way way way love the brooks connects. they are my favorite ive ever had but i needed something new becauuse even though it says on my blog that my grean beans only have like 250 miles i have 500+ on them (there was a blog apostacy for a few months) and i needed something for longer runs. i'll for sure still run in my green beans.

| | good run down in green valley with my new altras. i was worried about the size of them, they might have been too small, but they were actually pretty good! i hope they help to improve the way i run a little. paul did good again today, as did everyone else! but paul insisted that he went the whole 6 miles, when coach only wanted him to do 5. i hope nobody gets injured! still bumbed about colton! i talked to him today and he still thinks he can go to camp so thats good! we need him and everyone else to bring their A game this season! |
