30/30s today. last week we did 40 of them (coach made us max at 40) but this week coach told us to make our recovery much more active, so abel and i kept together and recovered much more actively, in fact, we didnt stop to walk, or even catch our breath once! last week we did about 50 meters recovery and stoped to wait to go for 5 to 10 seconds but this week abel and i woud recover 75meters, and sometimes even almost 100 meters and we would just go when coach yelled for the 30 seconds to start. let me tell ya, that made a HUGE difference! i was struggling at #13, and it felt like the 30 sec. hards were way faster than last time! its crazy what 5 seconds of rest will do for ya, but in this workout you shouldent be doing that. abel and i dropped at 20, but we could have done a little bit more. next weeks goal is 25! i bought some asics gell lyte 33 2's today, much better than the first gells. i like em! |
