| | No goose egg this week. I may or may not have taken a two hour nap at work last night, so I had no excuse for not going running. I felt pretty good. 9:03 pace. 83°. I saw one runner holding her IPod. Then another runner holding his compact disc player. Then another runner with an MP3 player strapped to his arm. I don't know if it was an MP3 player or not. But it sure makes for a good storyline. The weirdest thing I saw was a lady laying across the hood of her car waiting for Starbucks to open. She had her feet on the ground, but she was face first into her hood. I hope she wasn't dead.

| | Dear mom, Sorry I haven't called. I just wanted to let you know that I ran 3 miles today. It was 104 degrees out. Not much else is going on. Talk to you later. Love, Burt

| | Temp - 109° - but with the cloud cover most of the time it felt like 107° I so need to find a better time to go running. I wanted to go this morning, but I was just exhausted when I got home from work. I've been training a new guy to take my place. I let him drive last night, and that is just physically exhausting. You know. All that sitting.

| | Temp - 91°. Yay for cool morning runs! Boo for being out of shape! I found out that I have to cover a coworker's shift this week. So that means 40 hours of overtime. Extra money is good, even if I do have to work for it. So, I kinda didn't want to run, but I felt real good, so I knew I should. I am sore now, but in the end, it will be worth it. Now I just need somebody to tell me what the end is.
