AM - 6 miles on the treadmill (rainy morning) and 2000 meters of indoor rowing. 

Got blood test results from my physical last week.  Insanely high numbers from an endurance/fitness perspective - for which I have very little explanation except that I have not been training too hard, which may result in better labs:

RBC - 5.45 M/uL

HGB - 16.4 g/DL

Hematocrit - 48.9%

Ferritin - 131

I have not been training that much since running/slow pacing Riley and her boyfriend the NYC marathon - and my training for that race was very modest - rarely exceeding 50 mpw and no long runs greater than 16 miles.

So - I am currently uninjured and apparently quite healthy from a labs perspective.  I suppose it is time to begin some base training for a late spring marathon.  Daughter #3 will be in Rome for a study abroad and Daughter #2 wants to run the Roma marathon in April.  I have also got an entry to Grandma's marathon in June.

PM - 7 miles on the treadmill at lunchtime (storms in the area) - followed by 2000 meters of indoor rowing.  My phone had a tornado warning alert go off just as I was leaving the gym - so probably a good idea that I stayed indoors.  Never saw the tornado - though my entire office building had to empty into stairwells as a precaution.

PM - 7 miles on the treadmill after work.  Had to have a echocardiogram today.  Last week at my annual physical my EKG was abnormal.  Athletic Heart Syndrome was suspected so the additional test was required.  Had this a few years ago and was asked to do a stress test at a cardiologist then.  Will be  few days before it is confirmed from this test result.
