I took second at USATF Nationals Cross-Country when I was ten. I was 6th at nationals in the 3000 in 2004.

Personal:

I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again.

We went to the local track by where we were staying. It was a very old track and the surface was really slow. I did 4 laps warm up then 4 laps of speed changes and one lap slow. Then I did 2x1 mile with 5 minutes in between. The first one was 6:40 and the second was 6:50. It was pretty windy during both but the wind was worse in the second one. I was a little bit disappointed with my times but with the higher elevation, wind, and slower surface I guess it wasn't too bad. After I did a mile cooldown.
