Nice easy run with lots of walking before, after, and in between miles. Walked about 2 miles in additional to the 4 miles of running. I ran the first mile in just under 8 minutes, was feeling a few aches and pains but just tried to shake out. I also did a lot of dynamic stretches before and after the first mile. I walked around for a while and then ran 1.3 miles, I felt way better. Stopped and walked around some more, finished with 1.7 miles. It was a really nice and easy run. I think I should do a shakeout/drills/form mile before every run. |
