I tried out the sauna today, its not very enjoyable but supposedly it has cardiovascular and other health benefits. After that I went running at sugarhouse to test that out. It went pretty well, my ankle hurt a little but it wasn't the Achilles as much as the lower right part of my ankle, my left and back part felt good, even strong which is encouraging. Cut it at 4 miles, I think 10 miles by June 1st was a little optimistic. Perhaps 10 miles by June 15th haha. Probably going to try and so 5-7 next week, maybe 7-8 the week after that. But it all depends on the ankle. Also I'm very excited to see my teammates Kasey, Mike, and Matt race at ncaa regionals as well as Kramer, its so awesome to see Kramer come back so well, I'm really excited for him and what he will be able to do over the next few years! |
