Ran up to the mouth of the canyon and back while my dad biked. Stayed around 6:50 on the way up and then averaged 5:35 the last mile and a half. There was a good amount of downhill the last mile and a half. Feeling the post-run high. Averaged 6:26, which is pretty good. Tomorrow I'll probably run with Jake, so probably another hard day, but who knows. School work has been kind of weird, just kind of making to do lists and doing the tasks on them whenever feels good. I like it, but it does feel weird. Lots of time for working out, I did 15 wide grip and 20 side grip pull-ups, some bent over rows with rock salt bags, some curls with plates, and then a bench workout of 2x8@150, 2x5@170, and 1x3@180. I have a old small bench and a 15 pound bar, so it's not ideal, but it's something. Bar is really small so it hurts my hands a little on higher weight. Definitely better than not being able to exercise. Back workouts are hard without a gym. Core later. I looked and this has been my highest mileage month since 2018. Only by a mile though, let's hope in April I run about twice as many miles as in March. Goal is 100. |
