I met a friend at the pilot station then we ran up to tonaquint to meet up with another group and ran the trail system, then back up to tonaquint and then back on the trail to my car. Considering how sick I've felt the past few days, & haven't slept well all week- I actually felt pretty good on this run. Our ave pace was 9:02 and that included a few walking breaks for drinks and stuff. I ate a banana right before the run., then I had 1 little honey chew a mile 4, 1/2 a waffle at mile, 7, the other 1/2 at mile 11, then 2 more chews around mile 13. My stomach felt ok the whole time. I think because I ate less, but more often. Still not sure what I want to use for the marathon. I wore the kinvaras that I will wear in the race and they felt good.
