Sub 2:40 at Deseret News Marathon. Never quite conquered that beast yet.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Run a good marathon again in the future.
Easy 4 miles at 8-8:30/mile pace. 56 degrees out.. This is one of the mildest winter seasons I have seen here.
Ten mile progression run with a jog cool down after.
AM-6 miles easy recovery jog. 8-9/min pace.
PM-Easy 4 mile recovery run. 8-8:30/min pace.
Easy 6 mile jog.
Easy 10.5 miles with some hill surges.
Easy 6 mile jog today. Feeling my age.. Working up to 60 mpw with some quality tempo or speed work. Making Orange chicken and rice for dinner. Pre-packaged but whatever.. Cooking is something I am trying my hand at now:)
Easy to steady state run today in the middle of a snow storm. Only minutes after I finished the snow stopped and the sun broke through..
Took the day off. Spending time with Aaron my youngest son and trying to convince him that distance running is in his future. He definitely has the build and the genes..
