I took my new racing flats for a test drive today.  I'm not fast enough to own a pair of racing flats but want to pretend that I am every once in awhile.  They were very comfortable and I liked running in them.  They are definitely shoes that I can only wear for races and speed work because my legs need more support for the majority of my miles.  It was a great run on the LPT this morning.

Did you get the Saucony's from SGRC?

Yeah, I got them from SGRC and they were delivered yesterday. It was too good of a deal to pass up.

Nice flats and workout.

I love running in my flats. They feel like slippers on my feet and make me feel faster than I am.

Are they red like Jeff's ruby slippers?

From Andy on Fri, May 29, 2009 at 14:31:25 from 199.190.170.22

Yes they are red and they have sparkly shoe laces. Very hot.

LOL....this is great! We could be twinners Andy. You are much more legitimate than I am wearing those things, sometimes I feel a bit timid because they really stand out in a crowd. I too love the way they feel, but I doubt I would ever venture beyond 6 or 7 fast miles in these shoes because I need the extra support.
