| | I got up at 5 today to do my workout. Bright and early. I'm not much of a morning person but I've been forcing myself to be while Riley is injured so I can get my runs done early. I drove and parked at my in laws house and did the South Ogden tempo loop today. I ran a 2.15 warm up. The plan was to do a tempo run based on feel. It turned out ok for the early morning 6:34, 6:33, 6:37, 6:31. I jogged for 4minutes then did 4x400s with 90 sec rest. 81, 80, 82, 83. That last 400 was into the wind and it felt sooo hard.

| | I pushed the kids this morning really slow. My legs were sore from lifting yesterday. Hoping to get at least 3 more miles in later..
3 more easy miles to get 9 for the day.

| | The intention was to do my long run today. I wanted to get 17 miles in with a 10 mile aeorobic builder in the middle. My achilles has been sore for the last two days but I thought it would warm up and go away. I ran a three mile warm up and the plan was to average 6:45-6:50. I was feeling really good except for my achilles. After about 3 miles on pace and feeling relaxed it started effecting my stride and speed. I was compensating on my sore achilles too much. I went back and forth for the next few miles still wondering if I should stop, I really wanted to do this workout and I was feeling good but I decided I couldn't put up with another 8 miles with a little limp. It felt like I sprained my ankle. After about another 3.5 miles I decided I needed to end it and take tomorrow off. There is some swelling on my left achilles so hopefully some ice over the weekend will help and I can run on Monday. Here's splits for my 7 miles of aeorbic builder 6:43, 6:44, 6:44, 6:56, 7:00 6:55, 7:11. The 4th mile was when it started effecting my stride and then my pace.
