Well I had to take a long time off because of this weird injury I was having. I strained a muscle in my lower back and I couldn't run for a few weeks without it hurting. Last week I ran 1 to 2 miles every other day and I felt normal again. So I think I can start back up but not run everyday yet and keep my mileage low. My goal is to do a 5k in August. I'll probably do the one my town puts on the South Weber 5k. I want to keep it simple for awhile and see how that goes. I just need to make sure I stretch good and ice after every run.
Today I pushed the kids 2.1 miles at 9:35 pace. |
