I only ran once last week. We were at a family reunion all week doing different activities. I thought it was a good opportunity to not run and see if I can get rid of that injury completely. It seemed to help because today I didn't feel it at all and had a good run with Riley. My pace was 8:13 but I threw in some 1 minute surges. I did 4 of them. My first surge put me down at 7:10 pace, my second I didn't see, my 3rd was just under 7 minute pace, and my last one was my longest and fastest. I finished with a quarter mile at 6:25 pace. It was a pretty encouraging run. |
