I have to say that I've always wanted to do a Turkey Trot so I was happy that the Van de Kamps invited me in on their family tradition. My family typically starts eating and drinking as soon as they wake up and continue until they all pass out during the Packer game.

Anyway... I saw the Turkey run as a sort of pre-surgery time trial. I ran as fast as I could which was pretty rough and I am super sore everywhere but in that darned hip.

So the Van de Kamp holiday was a little more mellow?? Haha, at least the Packers won yesterday :)

Drinking as soon as they wake up? Nice! Nothing like a buzz before 8:00 am. :) Good to see the hip isn't bothering you.
