First Turkey Trot training run. I really want to beat my time from last year, which is going to be really tough even though it was only a week before my pretty massive hip surgery and I hadn't been running at all. Reason being I want to know that I am better off after the surgery and resultant rehabilitation marathon.

Jacked up on too much pumpkin spice coffee I decided to run a mile as fast as I could down Memory Grove with the result being a 6:52. Pretty awesome considering I've never run a mile under 7 in my life and feel like I have pneumonia or some other serious lung crap!

What was your time from last year??

From Lulu Walls on Tue, Nov 06, 2012 at 18:40:57 from 166.70.240.95

It was 28:59 for a 6K so 7:38/mile. That is going to be super tough to beat - eek!

Well you ran 6.5 miles in the low 8s a few weeks ago, so it's definitely within reach!
