| | First day of classes pt. 2!!!! Quick update on my life cause I know y'all are wondering since I've been mia for like ever: finished our SICK vacation in Hawaii on the first, & drove back to Ephraim on the second. I've been lifting pretty much every day but haven't really been running. Today the gym was packed (becuz New Years resolutions, can't wait for it to be back to normal in a month) so I biked for a mile then went & lifted anyway. & I just got back from Western swing (counting this as some physical exertion for today lol) & HOLY CRAP it was so frkin fun!!!!!!! I met a boy, we might be in love, I'll keep you posted.

| | Went to the gym to lift but she was like "jsyk there's a class coming in the weight room at 1:30" & it was like 1 so I was like ohhh ok. So I went in the cardio room & ran 2 miles while my fren rylie biked. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the bestttt because I get out of classes at 12:15 so I have the entire day to do homework & stuff. Also my roommate has strep so I'm probably gonna get it & im going to stg this weekend for my moms birthday so that's what I'll be giving her lol jk but really
Also there's a dance tonight n you're fooling yourself if you don't think I'm gonna go hard at that so add another mile to that total

| | As per my bff collin's request, I've returned!!!! 2 treadmill miles today. I missed my first class to take a test & do homework so I could run after classes before work. I've actually gotten like 6 hrs sleep over the past 2 days so I'm feeling good lololol. Anyway I started out at 10 min pace for the first .5 then the next .5 I did 9:15ish & kept bumping it til I got to 7 min pace. It felt good & my endurance is nowhere near as bad as I thought it was so I can start running farther, yayyy. Life's so frkn good rn

| | Since we didn’t have classes today + like all of Ephraim is gone this weekend I got the gym practically to myself this morning so three freaking cheers for that. So I lifted for like 2 hours then went & ran 3 miles. I love love when people aren’t here hahaha. Also I was gonna go to a concert tonight but since it’s sooo snowy I’m not anymore/: so if anyone wants to buy 2 tickets lmk lol

| | Due to popular request, I am once again back hahahahah. Anyway, I haven’t been running a lot but I’ll treat this like an exercise journal (or maybe just a regular journal, that’s what usually happens lol) today I went & lifted then went in the cardio room & biked 10.5ish miles. my best homie Rylie met me there when I was done lifting & she finished biology. Then we watched The Bachelor: After. An incredible program, truly. Arie’s the worst. Lauren made a bad decision. Becca’s cool. I can’t wait for spring break. Like a lot. HBD to my daddio cause he’s the coolest around & I love him

| | Lifting between class #1 & #2. Upper body. The attempted bombing at PV had me all out of whack today. Scary stuff. Guess gun control isn’t the answer??? Weird.
Western swing that night. My favorite class. Also wrote 3 pages for my 8 page paper. My professors are trying to kill me

| | Another 10 miles on the bike. I’ve found I enjoy biking so on the days I don’t have room in my schedule to lift, I go to the cardio room & bike. Two thumbs up. THREE thumbs up for going home tomorrow for sprang break. Just one test, one assignment, & three classes left #blessedtobestressed

| | None exercise today other than a walk this morning. I had work last night & when I got home my friends came over & we didn’t get back til 2 am. I realized my best option would be to stay up all night because I had two tests today & sleep deprived Alli is a lot smarter than regular Alli. So we pulled an all-nighter & went on a walk around town at about 5 am, maybe 2 miles?
I got an 80% on one of my tests & I promise you I guessed on more than half the questions. My theory still stands. I’ll let y’all know what I got on the other test when I get my score back

| | SO these last few months I’ve been kinda lost in what I want with my body & what I’m willing to sacrifice & what to do & everything. Well, I’ve been reading this book & it’s got eating guidelines & exercise guidelines & honestly life guidelines. It’s actually pretty incredible & the guy is really informed on everything he teaches. So today I started this eating “diet” & tomorrow I will begin the exercise portion of what he teaches. I think I’m going to keep all my plans & results in a journal but I’ll probably blog the exercise part of what I do every day.
Anyway, today I just lifted upper body. It was good. That’s all I got.

| | A RUN! This morning I accidentally slept through all my classes for the day (I know, pathetic. It was an accident) so then Zach came over & we hung out till he left for nephi. Then I decided to finally run.
Part of the new thing I’m doing is cardio every other day & today I was really feeling a run. On the treadmill because I was gonna be alternating paces a lot & didn’t want to deal with my watch. Each level had a different pace, & the paces ranged from 10:00-7:00 I did 20 minutes with each minute a different level. It was extremely difficult because I haven’t ran in 5ever, but I’m gonna get way better & have my range be like 8:00-5:00 someday. Anyway, it was definitely the hardest running workout I’ve done since high school which felt SO good. Yeah, now I just needa do some homework & go to bed at a decent time tonight so I can actually go to classes tomorrow

| | Lifting lower body! Quads, hamstrings, calves, & abs. The plan I’m following has shorter workouts with really high intensity so it was hard but quick which was nice. English is cancelled today #blessed but I absolutely have to go to courtship & marriage because I haven’t been in 2 weeks (but also last week was spring break so it sounds a lot worse than it actually is) I went to bed at like midnight:30 last night which is like 2 hours earlier than I usually go to bed so I got some gooood sleep & I’m probably gonna take a nap too

| | Biking today. Same workout idea as Tuesday with the levels & time & everything. About 5.4 miles or something like that. It was hard but very good!!

| | Lower body lifting between classes. Quads, hamstrings, calves, & abs. Not a lot to report. Had a killer weeekend with the clan. Life’s so good to me

| | Nothing today. Both my classes were cancelled so me & Zach went to lunch in Manti then went & shot guns #redneckin then did homework the ENTIRE rest of the day which was helpful cause I have soo much

| | Easter run in stg!!!! So freaking warm I got sunburnt hahahahah I just progressively picked up the pace to end at about 7:20. Nice run & im sad to be back in freaking cold ephraim I can’t get over how warm it was there

| | Early run before classes. Same workout. I took a short break before I started the level 10 because I was exhasted. I wish I wouldn’t have. Next time I’ll be continuous. It’s gonna be a good day

| | Went out on a run. My endurance is strugglin. The way out I averaged a 9 min pace but the way back I was able to bring it down to average 8:20 for the whole run. It was a super nice day. Now I got work & I think we’re having a fire tonight I’ll keep ya guys posted
