AM. Back to the grind
I ran an easy 4.5 miles at 7:30 pace.
I've got two races coming up next month a 5k & an 8k. The 5k I'm not so concerned with because it's so large, it's hard to get in a good position at the starting line. But the 8k is a smaller local race. I've won my age group last year. I may have won my age group the year before, I can't remember now. I want to shave my 8k time. The race isn't until March 26th, so i should have plenty of time to work on it. Please give me some guidance!

Tonight I was under the gun to get my run over with quickly being Valentines Day and all.
1st mile @ 7:30 pace
1.50 mile @ 6:00 pace
0.75 mile @ 8:00 pace
0.25 mile @ 6:00 pace
I wanted to keep pushing, but my tummy started bubbling. I called it a day. Also on my mind is my Hot wife waiting at home for me to take her out to dinner. Can you blame me for cutting my run short???
