6 miles under the black morning  sky.   The wind was howling and the cars were creeping ever closer as I ran down the road of despair. Into the darkness each foot pounded the pavement of pain and loneliness

I got up at 4:15 am to meet Big foot!  did our usual 3 mile warm up  then picked up the pace.   started out around 6:18 pace.  and  ranged  to 6:40 pace for the next 5 miles.  stayed ahead of mike for the first 2 then he passed me.   he looked strong all the way to the end of the tempo!   i kept trying to tell myself to relax and don;t let my body tell me i was tired.  I have alot of work to do to get back into racing shape.    I did some good stretching last night   and i think it made a difference in todays run. i felt much better.  more flexible.

club run.   or but kicking thursday  when i run with the likes of Dave, Clyde and Steve.   after 5  miles of sub 7 pace.  i have had enough.    Mikes stayed with me the rest of the way.

Ran with the new BBB club today.   Buddah, Bigfoot, Bull.    pick it up a cpuple of miles  but kept it at a nice even pace mst of the run.
