I got up at 4:15 am to meet Big foot! did our usual 3 mile warm up then picked up the pace. started out around 6:18 pace. and ranged to 6:40 pace for the next 5 miles. stayed ahead of mike for the first 2 then he passed me. he looked strong all the way to the end of the tempo! i kept trying to tell myself to relax and don;t let my body tell me i was tired. I have alot of work to do to get back into racing shape. I did some good stretching last night and i think it made a difference in todays run. i felt much better. more flexible. |
