Haven't posted for a while been busy with work and other little projects. I've been running pretty much everyday 6 miles around a 8ish to 7ish pace. I've been running over 30 miles a week and feeling happy about the recovery. I still have soreness in the morning and night and it feels like I'm always rehabbing. But, no time to feel sorry for myself I must get better. Today, I ran 5.26 miles in 7:50 pace in 41.11 minutes. Cut the run short because I worked till midnight last night and was awaken at 3am by our partying neighbors which we called the cops on again. The lack of sleep caused me to get up late and rush. I'm running the first Summer series race next week called the "Law Day 10K" I'm hoping to have fun and average around a 7ish pace. I'm sure you all are aware that for me to care about a pace is plain dumb and I would be running it for the wrong reason. This is for fun and good rehab. But in my fitness and rehab now I think a 7ish pace is a good fun goal. Barry and I are going to run the course route tomorrow around 6am for me to get a feel on it.
