Day of rest.  My back is still really bothering me where it's hard to get up at times.  I'm going to schedule a Chiropractor appointment for tomorrow or Tuesday.  Whenever I can get in immediately.  Just trust in God that's all I'm doing right now, and my attitude is good.

I've got other issues going on with my stomach that I need prayer for (so remember me in your prayers). Don't want to explain it right now but it's hard and frustrating to deal with.  Like I said my attitude is good.  It's just a sign where this year needs to be a cut-back year.

After our morning devotion which was awesome I decided to bare the 5 degree weather.  I ran 11.3 miles at 7:05 pace in 1:19.  I tried to avoid the ice as much as possible.

Evening:  More sit-ups and push-ups like always.    My back still has the same pain, and not any better.

This morning we had an extra long devotion on accepting your spouse who they are.  It also talked about how God let his son Jesus die on the cross for us, and it did matter if we accepted him or not.

My garmin was dead today and everything just didn't seem right to get ready to run outside.  Plus my time was short so I hopped on the Treadmill at home and ran 8.51 miles in 56 Minutes.  Several pick-up  miles to get some speedwork.  I set the incline at 1%.

Back still in the same pain and actually feels worse.

My wife woke up with a migraine this morning, but she still wanted to do our devotion so I did all the bible reading.  I prayed for her and right now she's feeling better.   If you trust in God and are obedient in your faith anything is possible.

I ran 11.3 miles at a 7:05 pace in 1:19 today.  This is the same actually mileage, time and speed that I did on Tuesday.  The temperature was nice today at 21 degrees a real heat wave and it felt good.

After my morning devotion with my wife I headed out to do a little faster run this morning.  I had a morning meeting at work which was a good motivator to run faster.  The temperature  was between 15 to 20 degrees with some fog.   I ran 10.12 miles at an overall 6:52 pace in 1:09.  The last 7 miles I wanted to keep under a 7 minute pace (6:51, 6:50, 6:51, 6:46, 6:52, 6:33, 6:17).

I probably won't do a long run tomorrow, because I'm going to run 11 miles with my friend Barry.  His goal this week is to reach 70 miles and all he needs is 11 miles to do so.  Me, I'll barely be above 50 miles which is fine with me. This cut-back in running has been great for my life and given me better balance.  I actually feel faster than last year and know at this point I could run under a 2:30 with God's grace.

Barry (on the blog) and I ran the back side of the Pocatello marathon course today.  It was cold but fun.  It was actually colder 1000 feet lower in the city than where we started.  We ran 11.2 miles at an overall 7:06 pace in 1:19.    We hit around 4 miles at a 6:2ish and 6:3ish pace.   I could of ran more but I didn't want to run more because breakfast sounded better.  Plus I'm not really training right now so a long run didn't matter.
