Good race tough course... Mostly uphill.

Mile 1; (6:09 mostly uphill and was in 4th)

Mile 2: (6:08 Again Mostly uphill flat tied for second place).

Mile 3: (5:20 Downhill for first .3 and then flat for .7  was in first but got legged out by a High school track runner and finished in second by one second).

Not a bad race... not feeling the best, lack of sleep and on an antibiotic.

Ran another 12.30 miles after the race at a 6:58 pace in 1:25:42.

Nice running Kory, sounds like a tough course well done, and those miles afterwards excellent :-)

I was thinking that was some serious speed when I saw the time. Then I read that it was all uphill. That's smokin' fast! Great job.

Great run! Who won the race?

nice race, uphill and with a bacterial infection handicap to boot. be careful running hard with an infection like that. happy thanksgiving!

Barry the winner was a Highland High School track runner. I just didn't run the last mile right. I played caught up from the start by getting a late jump at the starting line being so far back in the pack (because I was having fun talking to some casual running buddies). I had to push the second and third mile to caught up from about 6th place to first place than finishing in second.

Doesn't matter I wanted to run for fun and really didn't expect to do good anyway because of the sickness and infection this week. It was a good run for fun.

Nice job on a tough course.

You still did great. I had a BYU college student win the race i was in, plus a lot of High school students. I am happy with the race. We sure had a lot of wind though. One of the kids that i passed caught back up with me and passed me, but he timed it wrong and i was able to use him as a shield from the wind. Then the last half mile he was tired and i passed him back and gain a few yards on him. Also, i am not able to run with you tomorrow because we are still in Rupert tonight. Another thing is Gina is handling the loss of her job really good. I would have to say that it is a God thing on how she is handling the situation. Thank you for all your prayers.

I already figured that I would run alone. I might not run again tomorrow. I enjoy so much of the day-off today. They put my name in the paper for finishing second place out of the 301 runners. It was a great donation for United Way what a good cause.

That's what really needs to be in the paper.

Great race and an awesome day of running for you! Sounds like a tough course. Great job on getting 2nd!
