It was 2 degrees when I started running this morning.  My foot was hurting, but I wasn't limping.  After about 4 miles I forgot about the pain.  I ran 10.52 miles and keeping it easy at a 7:24 pace in 1:17:45.  My fingers were not bad with the mittens on, expect one finger was numb and took some time to thaw out.  Some toes on my left foot were numb but nothing serious.

I might take Friday off to see if I can run the race on Saturday.

Sam - my foot right now isn't feeling very happy. I think I changed my stride and now other portions of the foot as well as the existing pain is hurting. I may not be able to run tomorrow.

Dude, don't run! Let the foot heal. If you must run once it starts to feel better, come back slowly, don't jump into a 10+ miler. Your body is yelling "stop", please listen before it does more than yell at you.

[Reverse psychology]- keep running, Kory! Run a lot! Run 100 miles this week! No, run 100 miles today!!! If you run 100 miles today and every other day, your foot will get better. Trust me. Rest won't work, only more and more running.

Jon - Jeff - Thanks. I know what you guys are saying. But I thought it was better today because it felt good. It really started to bother me a bit later in the run even though at first I felt the pain somewhat.

Jeff - your right 10 miles was a little too much to jump back in, but my legs wanted to go. Tomorrow I will listen to my body.
