Very nice morning over 50 degrees and sunny.  My back was still bothering me when I got up, and I felt it for the first mile then I was okay.   But it bothers me the must when I bend down or get up.  Climbing 1200ft in 5 miles Saturday for the relay might be interesting on my back.

This morning I did 12.21 miles at an easy 7:14 pace in 1:28.  My body was tired and my legs were dead half of the run.  I did do two miles under 7 minutes.  Tomorrow I won't do as many, and try to keep my legs fresh for my leg in the relay.

Sweet runs lately. You're going to do great at the relay! I can feel it already! How's the weather there? The last couple days it's been 90+ it seems everywhere but here. Now it's our turn I guess

Ben - It should be an interesting leg. Last year I did a leg at the Wastach Back that went up 1600ft in 3 miles.

I'm just going to take it nice and easy. The temperature here the last few days has ranged from 70 to 90 degrees.

Sam - Thanks. It will be fun and interesting. At least it's not with a serious competitive team so there's not pressure. Nobody they could find wanted to run this Relay Leg.

well that goes for saying how good you are, to run a leg nobody wants to run, and shows how strong you are! Again Good Luck and enjoy it with no pressure

:-)

Sam - it's definitely going to be interesting. My plan is to run the leg then turn around and run 10 more miles back to the start so I can get a long run in. Hopefully I can hit some tempo miles back down the mountain.
