I stayed off my legs this morning and rode on a stationery bike at Gold's Gym for 45 minutes and did a few sit-ups.  I'll count this as 3 miles.   My right foot still hurt this morning.  Hopefully, I'll be able to run with Barry tomorrow.

Lunch:

Lots of sit-ups and push-up.  Trying to supplement this for my running.

Good idea with the cross training, no need pushing too hard and making the injury worse.

Get better soon!

Kory,

Sorry to hear about the foot pain! Just as you seemed to be really coming around. Seems as though you have a healthy perspective...I'll keep you in my prayers. There are bigger things in this world than running, yet the aches and pains can still be frustrating!

Hope your foot gets better. I would suggest reconsidering doing a 16 mile run tomorrow if you couldn't run a quarter mile on Tues.

Rockenss18 - Thanks. Life goes on and work has kept my mind off things.

Jon - I know it sounds stupid, and I'm probably stupid for trying it. I plan on getting up about 4:30am and testing the foot out around the block. If it's a no go then I'll call Barry, and Bill Mandler (both on the Blog) that I can't run with them. Because where were going is 8 miles from my house (Pocatello Marathon Course).

I at least want to see if I can run. But your right if I can't run a quarter of a mile two days ago than 16 does sound stupid. Like I said I'll test it out first before trying the 16 miles.

I hope that your foot starts feeling better. Good job on the cross training. Hopefully the time off will help it heal up quickly.
