Good for you to get out and get some miles in this morning. Have a nice relaxing week, and get ready to "kick the trash" at this marathon.

From jtshad on Mon, May 11, 2009 at 11:28:13 from 204.134.132.225

Good luck at Ogden!

From RivertonPaul on Mon, May 11, 2009 at 11:34:51 from 67.42.27.114

I'm glad Ogden traditionally has good stuff at the end of the marathon so that there will still be plenty left for me after you've had at it.

From bec on Mon, May 11, 2009 at 12:12:43 from 205.123.38.151

Riverton Paul,

Don't plan on it. After Walter gets to it, it will all be gone.

From Michelle N. on Tue, May 12, 2009 at 11:10:34 from 75.162.247.175

So, I noticed you weren't on the list for the SG lottery. Do you automatically get in or are you going to work some magic?

From Teena on Wed, May 13, 2009 at 21:20:50 from 67.177.20.13

C'mon Walter James ... I know you are mad as all ... but please don't let the anger interfere with your blogging!! :)

From Michelle N. on Thu, May 14, 2009 at 09:49:20 from 75.162.247.175

Why are you mad Walter?

From Jon on Thu, May 14, 2009 at 15:44:38 from 138.64.2.76

You ok, Walter?

From Teena on Thu, May 14, 2009 at 17:29:28 from 67.177.20.13

Walter's not blogging until he has a spot in SGM -- he is on strike!!!

From Jon on Thu, May 14, 2009 at 17:45:12 from 138.64.2.76

Really? Or are you kidding? I'm getting a bit worried that something happened to him. Serious.

From RAD on Thu, May 14, 2009 at 18:12:57 from 67.166.99.8

Check facebook - you can always find Walter there :)

From Michelle N. on Thu, May 14, 2009 at 18:35:43 from 75.162.247.175

Well, I did check FB earlier and found him but come on...Where is Waldo:)

From Bec on Thu, May 14, 2009 at 18:48:49 from 205.123.39.50

He's on strike Teena? Not a bad idea...

From Walter on Thu, May 14, 2009 at 21:53:55 from 76.27.15.208

Sorry friends. Im having one of those moments in my running.

Bec, thanks for the comments. I am going to push myself in Ogden.

Jeff, Thanks for that as usual!

Paul, They do have Jamba Juice which is my nectar of love! I love it! I think i took 4 cups last year there.

Michelle, yeah im mad! I work hard to train for one marathon that matters to me a year and that is SGM. Im going to change it to Chicago, or Houston or Arizona. Screw them.

Teena, Ill try to be better with this. its just a race right? ok

Jon, im not injured. just mentally not physically. But im glad the race is in St. George or I would be over there in person going postal on them. Its a retarded system that doesnt work! Especially if your in a group

Rachel, you are right! Facebook is hooked up to my phone so I can respond when im at work.

From Jon on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 00:35:27 from 75.169.157.230

Walter- come to TOU marathon. It's closer, cheaper, has prize money, Cody Paul and I am doing it, and I think the course is better. Guaranteed entry, too.

From Walter on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 00:40:53 from 76.27.15.208

Jon i will definitely do that one if I cant get into SGM. Id like to do Chicago if i can get into that one. Dont know how my future is right now with work and all. I may run it and SGM if I get in anyways

From Jon on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 10:09:44 from 138.64.2.76

Chicago is closed. The only way in is charity or elite (sub-2:31 marathon).

From Michelle N. on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 10:20:01 from 75.162.247.50

Oh man Walter, your luck just keeps getting worse:) Just call and bug the crap out of the RD for SG. My dentist does it every year and gets in. He calls and calls and calls until she gets tired of him and lets him in. You could also say, "Don't you know who I am? I'm Walter!" and they'd for sure let you in:) Oh and remind them of your time from last year and your place and then...

From Dustin on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 10:47:39 from 204.113.48.69

I always feel bad for those individuals that don't make the lottery, especially when they are great runners that are serious about the sport. I get upset when I see the 5 hour guy that just signed up because everyone else was doing it or he is out there pacing his 10 year old kid.

I've had thoughts about Chicago in the future. Mike Warren wants us all to go and do the Maui Marathon not this fall, but in 2010.

Also, Walter thanks for the invite to stay at your place, but the Wildbull and I already got a hotel, maybe next time.

From Michelle N. on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 11:00:25 from 75.162.247.50

Dustin, is there another Maui marathon? I ran the Maui Oceanside 1/2 in January and it was awesome. It was put on very well.

From Walter on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 11:11:15 from 76.27.15.208

Jon, i didnt plan or have a backup plan for this year. Dang. I guess ill have to step it up a notch and bust out a 2:31 tomorrow.

Michelle, trust me she freakin knows who i am! Thats probably why I didnt get in this year. 4 years of bugging the sh** out of her hasnt changed anything.

Dustin Ill have to make plans for that! That would be fun to go kill myself in the most beautiful vacation spot. haha Ill see you up there tomorrow.

From jtshad on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 11:16:31 from 204.134.132.225

Walter, there are lots of marathons around that time frame, some not too far to travel to. City of Trees in Boise, Portland, Salmon, Lewis and Clark in Bozeman, MT are just a few that come to mind.

Have fun tomorrow!

From Dustin on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 11:29:08 from 204.113.48.69

Michelle I think the Maui Marathon is in Sept.

Walter-maybe the bloggers should buy a foreclosed condo or house and then they would have an address in Washington County. Plus whenever somebody had the desire to come down in the summer and train in 100+ weather they could.
