Well Sasha, I finally got myself on here.  I ran the ogden 5k in the blistering cold and that course was wicked!  18 minutes and a few seconds.  I felt good for the first mile then the hills came and chad, john and cody wizzed by me.  We all finished close together which gave those young bucks the advantage with their speed.  I would've gotten away with it too if it werent for them meddling youngsters!  Chad was the exeption. Congrats to him!  There is hope for us after all right Chad? It was a surpisingly slow start with 6 minutes at the first mile.  Thats alright though, gives my oldness a chance! Very fun though and a great turnout! There wasnt any awards after though, whats up with that? Ive gotta have something to add to my wall of shame!

Walter - welcome to the blog. Good race.

Which older guys are you talking about? You are not old until you are at least 45. Meaning that if you are not reaching your life-time PR performances, it is not because of age.

Note that you can use the race report feature - just click on Edit Entry, and then check "This Entry is a Race Report".

You are almost neighbors with Steve Ashbaker - see if you can get together with him for a run sometime. His blog is http://ashbaker.fastrunningblog.com/, just send him a private message.

Hey Walter. Good Job today. I didn't think I would ever catch up with you today. Well done.

I don't know what is worse, getting stiffed with an age group award or getting a trophy with a girl runner on top. Happens all the time.

No puking this race? What a letdown. Better work on that for the 10K. What is a race with Walter without seeing his breakfast....yummy.
