I woke up to a sore throat and congestion. I decided to run anyway. I left my house at 6 am and  ran up to Daybreak and picked up Danielle. I ran 8 miles with her and it was fairly warm compared to other days. I had to deal with snow drifts and a fresh coat of snow that fell last night. I felt like poo and I just wanted this run to end. I was spitting a lot and my lips are super dry so I need to suck down some serious fluids today. I made a total of 11 miles and it hurt but im sure I wont die from it. At least thats what my High School coach told me a few years ago.  I am off to get a haircut from Emily who runs with the BBK group. (insert advertisement) actually she is the best! Both Misty and I love her. My kids reminded me that my hair was getting a bit out of control. I believe the phrase was the 80's called and wanted their pre mullet hairdo back!~

Sorry you've got the yucky bug! I'm just getting over it, well, it turned into a sinus infection for me. So drink up Walter! Enjoy the haircut...well, I'm sure your 'girls' will anyway :) Good job getting through those miles. That light powdery covering of snow always seems harder to run in than just plain ol' snow!

I really didnt mind the light powdery snow I ran it. It was like running on the beach. Danielle was complaining about it but I was having fun. Hope to get rid of this bug and get back at it. I hope I dont have to plow tonight. Pray for good weather.

Hope you can stave off the sickness...nice run in the snow, at least it is warmer!

Thanks Samatha, I ended up calling in sick this morning and slept the entire day yesterday away. I rarely get this sick! I thought I could run it outta my system but it kicked my butt. I will be taking a few sick days off from running.
