I was so freakin busy this morning playing the carpool guy and then returning shingles and checking on jobs etc.  I really wanted to try to get in 10 this morning but it wasnt going to happen. I ended up doing it late tonight around Daybreak temple.  Nice and cool temps and it got dark quick.  Lots of people I recognize waved to me before it got too dark.  I can only imagine what conversation goes on when I run past them. "There goes that skinny guy again"  When my neighbors stop to talk to me they always ask if Im worried about my weight and I act like im obsesed with my weight with responses like I feel really bloated and chubby!  Do I look like im taking on weight a bit to you? Be honest.  lol

Next time I will have to let you know when I am down there! Saturday was really good. There is just something about people exerting themselves so much like that. It was really good, and I haven't raced in a long long time so it was good to remember how much harder I need to work to get out there and really run! You are the bomb.com at running!

Walter - That is hilarious. Most guys don't opening obsess about their weight like that! My husband is a stick. He makes me look fat in family pictures (dang him!). And I don't think I am fat... until I get a picture of the two of us next to eachother. O-well! :o)

Camilla, its good to do short races to get your speed up and see where you are against other runners. They are good for tempo and speed workouts.

Camille, I only do it because if you saw me in person you would realize my sarcasm. I am anorexic looking. My legs are sticks.

Actually Walter, I was thinking more like pencils. Ha,ha. You kicked butt this morning. Although I knew you would. Once again, you made me feel like a turtle. I kind of was this morning though. Didn't feel my best.

That's funny, acting like you're obsessed with your weight when people ask! If it ever gets brought up at a picnic, or dinner with guests, you should excuse yourself from the table several times right after eating something and head for the bathroom, then come back with a little food stuck to your chin, hahaha!

Michelle, You did simply awesome today. dont discredit yourself because I lapped you and made you feel less of a woman. Besides would it make you run faster if I told you next time Ill smack you on the butt, oops I mean butte, when I pass you? lol Keep up the good work. You will be surprised how well these workouts help you!

JD-Thats classic! Wait for a ward party and get some fake vomit going. It always bugs my wife when I ask her if I look fat to her! Im feeling a bit heavy, do I look like ive gained a bit back here? lol

From jill on Tue, Sep 09, 2008 at 21:54:28

Wally, pick up the pace, add on the miles, and you will get rid of that baby fat. (That is what my mother always called it!!)

nice work! Jillzo.

Jillzo, am I vertically challenged? jk, yeah, I actually had a girl that sat next to me in Health class in High school that died of anorexia. I remember kids in school staring at me after our assembly on anorexia and bolemia. One of my teachers even pulled me aside to ask questions about it. I probably ate more calories in a day than that damn teacher did! lol Im glad to see you back on the up and up manizzil.
