I missed yesterdays run and I feel just horrible about it. I went down this morning to 98th park trail and did a 3 mile warmup with Dean and his wife and Nancy. Then the others showed up and we started out next to the river and it was so cold I couldn't take it so I sped up and made a loop up to 10th west and around. I did it in 19 minutes so I must have been in the high 6 range. It was about 10 degrees. Felt like 1.

That is why I did not come this morning----down on the river trail is way too cold this time of year!!! I stayed home for the 6 degree warmer weather.

Have a good day Walter!

It was no doubt warmer away from the river.

It was very cold. You were probably warmer than I was because you went faster.

My body is still cold! I cannot warmup! I took a hot bath and my skin turned red like I had frostbite!

I am not laughing at that statement at all because I was freezing all day long! Every time I had to go outside caused me to need another 2 hours of heat therapy. And tomorrow is going to be more of the same....

Us runners only have good circulation when our heart rate is up which means we have to move more to get our blood going. That is my observation. So my statement that runners are not that good in the cold. Hence not to many Elite runners stem from Alaska or Iceland. lol Kelli, I know when your making fun of me. haha.
