Ran up at daybreak 6 miles. It was pretty torturous after 4 days of boating. I still had my sea legs and toughed out those miles.

Went up to City Creek and started at the parking lot and ran up to the top (6 miles) and down.  I started around 5:30 or so and it was hot, but had the canyon trees to cool the temps down a little. It ended up being 12 miles. There were tons of  bees that would circle around me as I ran and hit me in the head. I had to stop and swat at them because they wouldnt leave me alone. Coming down they didnt bug me because I was hitting a 5:45 pace. My legs are thrashed.

Good for you to get out and get some great miles in. Welcome back from vacation, and welcome back to running. I have a question for you. Would it be wise to use PC Marathon as a training run for TOU. I would not be pushing too much speed, what is your opinion on this?

And that my friend is why you are a better runner than I, good for you dude!

What can I say Rachel. I felt guilty for not running last week.

Matt, I will do the Wheet and Beat this Sat. Im going to be up there in Lewiston for a Baptism so Ill do it while im there. That is a great race! 3 bucks and you get breakfast and prizes that are worth more than your entrance fee!

Michelle, good to see you also. Its funny how the faster I pushed myself the better I felt. Im tired now though!

Bec, do what is right let the consequence follow. lol Im one to talk huh? haha

I wouldnt say im a better runner than you Christy. We all are the same! some are just freakin fast!

Johnny, Hows things going? Whats your next race coming up? Its been a while since I bumped into you on the trail.
