I ran this morning at the river park trail with Danielle and Misty. I made it to mile 3 and was crossing under the bridge at 104th which had standing frozen water on it and i made it about half way and it broke on me. It was about 6-8 inches deep and went to my ankle and drenched my feet.  I decided to go back to the parking lot and Danielle let me get in her vehicle to dry out while she kept running.  Not fun! By the time I got back to the car my shoes were frozen stiff. My socks were like cardboard.  To sum up, Inversion, broken Ice, 17 degrees, cant breathe, cant walk. Lovely day!

Holy crap no kidding! I knew I wouldnt have made a 7 miler out of it with wet feet in 17 degree weather.

From Jody on Wed, Jan 21, 2009 at 11:30:18

No fun! I have decided the only good thing about inversion is that there is no wind. See you tomorrow!

Walter, be carful!!! My running friend got frost bite on a couple of toes, due to damp cold feet. Every now and then her toes hurt now due to the frost bite.

Falls, crazy drivers, etc...you are the most accident-prone runner EVER

From walter on Wed, Jan 21, 2009 at 19:36:15

Jody, True that! I hate wind. Do I sound negative?

Lori, I knew I was in trouble right away and ran back to my vehicle which was smart instead of continue on running.

April, Im not accident prone, im just animated in my writing! ;)
