Go Utes! 48-24 over BYU! Utah is ranked #7 going into yesterdays game. Byu was 14th. It was a hard fought game and didnt look good there because every time Utah got a good lead, Byu came back!  It was a war even before the game started. It looked like they were going to brawl and of corse that is what the fans wanted.  BYU had Utah on their heels in the 3rd quarter and Utah came back to annililate them in the 4th. Thank goodness for the Utes defense. that puts our utes with a record of 12-0! That could very well put them into the top 6 in the BCS polls. Thanks to a butt kicking that #2 Texas Tech got yesterday. Either way the utes are going to a major Bowl game this year!

Hey Walter!!!

Did you go to the game?? If so ... I am so stinkin' jealous!! Hmmm ... what's that link on your post? I'll check it out.

Hope you are having a great morning!

The post is the game highlights and the famous haka dance that BYU tried to do on Utah's field. The Utes said, "I dont think so"! It almost turned into a brawl before the game even started. Awesome!

Walter,

I am as big of a BYU fan as I know and I just wanted to tell you the Congrats! They looked great and I wish the polls had been a little kinder to them this morning. It seems like 2004 all over again. I hope they do great in the bowl game and I hope you get feeling better soon.

I don't know if you pay much attention to the b-ball but I was watching the game up in Washington State with my brother in-laws one of which (Mark Bigelow) still holds alot of BYU records. It was all we could do to keep from turning 0ff the train wreck. But I give Utah's D a lot more credit then I do BYU the blame. UTES looked great. CONGRATS again.

Truth is I like BYU also, until they play the Utes. I grew up red with my dad working there and I got a really cool job with the utah football team when I was 14-17 and have always enjoyed seeing them play. BYU offensive line is freakin amazing! I am truely suprised we even gave pressure to the QB! Im really impressed with Unga and Austin Collie. I think it was the greatest match up in a while. Yes, the BCS is unfair to any WAC or Mountain west team. But to see Utah and Boise in the top ten is good. We need more exposure. We obviously have proven ourselves. I hate seeing teams like Texas Tech lose big and only get bumped a couple of spots. If the U lost, they would have been bumped out of the 10 for sure! We just have to keep playing tough and showing the Goliath teams that we can compete.
