am—5 A trip around the neighborhood before heading to Hurricane for the track meet. I took a while to loosen up. Good stuff at the meet.

I finished Epictetus: a Stoic and Socratic Guide to Life by A.A. Long. This book takes an in-depth look at the Stoic philosopher and his context. It’s on the scholarly end of the nonfiction spectrum. I enjoyed learning about the Stoic who resonates the most with me.
