Long-Term Running Goals:

Continue running as often as I can, as far as I can, as fast as I can. Teaching my kids (by example) the rewards that come from putting in the work. Very slowly get to 50 states.

Personal:

I'm married, with two sons, 17, and 18.

I started running because someone dared me to.

I ran my first race 3 days after my 40th birthday. (Disney)

5.5 miles. hood route. 7:30 am start. slow and ugly. Apparently there is a tropical storm near the other side of the state. You would not know it, based on what I'm seeing. Same old stagnant humidity.

I saw 7 other runners today. That is 7 more than normal. One runner got on laurel road at the same time as me, and we were going in the same direction, so we had to race without him knowing it, and he had to get beat.

5.5 miles. hood route. 6 am start. I used to run in hte dark all of the time. Now this seems odd.

10 miles of ugly. West Venetian Waterway park from the north bridge to Caspersen Beach and back. halfway at 12:30 pm. Smoldering. 91 deg. 64% hum.  77 d.p., feels like 105. I totally bit off more than I could chew.
