Short-Term Running Goals:

2023 GOALS:

Coastal Delaware Running Festival Marathon - 4/16/23 - Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

Long-Term Running Goals:

Continue running as often as I can, as far as I can, as fast as I can. Teaching my kids (by example) the rewards that come from putting in the work. Very slowly get to 50 states.

Personal:

I'm married, with two sons, 17, and 18.

I started running because someone dared me to.

I ran my first race 3 days after my 40th birthday. (Disney)

Less than 4.5 miles/day for the next 2 weeks gets you over 2000 miles. I think you can do it. Sometimes slow and steady is better than fast. Your marathon goals are ambitious, but sometimes running too many too often knocks the tar out of us and our bodies demand more time to recover.

At the rate I'm going, I'm going to have a tough time breaking 1900 miles! Just not feeling it lately. It's one thing to know what the problem is and how to fix it, and another thing to, you know, actually DO it. So i think im just going to coast into 2017 on low miles. Hopefully, I'll have the gumption to actually DO something by then.
