First run in SF after our Denmark/Iceland trip. Thought I'd feel mega-sluggish with the jetlag factor and being back at elevation and feeling fat/out-of-shape. But surprisingly felt pretty good and quite enjoyed the run. I suppose the crash-and-burn will happen later.

Also got to the gym for 30 min XT + core.

Still feeling good. Also went for a long walk at work.

Ran some hills. Probably the best I've felt all year as far as the hills went. Guess there's something to be said for the healing powers of going on vacation. Also went for a long walk just before lunch at work.

Five miles in the early morning. Ran into to Darin and ran a few quicker miles (for me not for Darin) with him. I'm certainly out of shape but my legs are feeling better this week than they have all year. Hope it's the beginning of a great training cycle looking forward to a 50 miler in 2015.
