Five miles in the early morning. Ran into to Darin and ran a few quicker miles (for me not for Darin) with him. I'm certainly out of shape but my legs are feeling better this week than they have all year. Hope it's the beginning of a great training cycle looking forward to a 50 miler in 2015.

Sounds like the vacation was a good thing for this weeks running. You'll have to let me know which 50 you're planning on so I can get excited to do it also.

Terry I'm leaning toward the Buffalo Run in March. Here is the link to the website: http://www.buffalorun.org/ .

It's a relatively easy course without all the extreme elevation changes that many ultras have. Plus I like that they sponsor training runs on the course throughout the year leading up to the race.

Wow 50 miler! Great goal and something that I would eventually like to do but haven't got myself convinced yet to tackle it. Hope your training goes well.
