Thought I'd be doing two easy runs today but my wife has to work late again.  So I went out to do the miles all at once.  No big deal really, just didn't ever feel too whippy.  Foot - no problems at all !  Lost 4  lbs of water weight---dang.

It is a warm day for late October ... 8 miles at a good pace & no foot issues ... Yea! Nice run! Are you racing this weekend?

Hey JG - no racing until the 5th. I'll do the 5 or 10 miler around the rock. I may try to run over to the marathon route to watch a little. I'm not exactly sure where it goes of course...

If you come to the marathon, I will be in Piedmont Park (with Alex if I can drag him out of bed) over by the Botanical gardens ... I am course monitor for that section. It is in Mile 16, I was hoping to do a 10 mile easy run with Alex to the finish after the last runner comes through when I am relieved of my duties ... but don't think that would be too good for Alex's shin issues!

that would be cool and a decent run for me. What time do you think they'll fly through? beginning at 9?

From JG on Thu, Oct 27, 2011 at 18:42:39 from 71.59.27.33

I hadn't really thought about that ... I have to be there at 7:15! lol

Race starts at 7, so I bet the leaders will come thru before 9, really have no idea what the winning time will be.

I am kinda excited, I think I will have a great viewing spot & am excited to watch them come flying by. It might get a little old later in the day, when I am watching them walk by! :)

yeah I did around that mile marker or maybe later for the Thanksgiving day marathon a couple years ago. It was fun but gets a little tiresome. I ran out of coffee way to early.
