Now how exactly did the dark slow you down? Was there some mystical dark power weighing down on you? I run in the pitch dark all the time and haven't noticed this phenomenon.

yeah Rhett - didn't you know the air is heavier when the sun goes down? :)

its the cruddy sidewalks on most of my routes around here..tree roots mainly mess them up. Maybe I need to invest in a headlamp.
