I got out before 10 this morning.  It was in the low 70s but HUMID.  Turned around before the 3 mile mark and still walked at least a half mile.  I don't know what happened.  I should have had a good run,.  I haven't had this bad of a run, especially a 5 miler (supposed to be 6).

Wow, that's a real bummer. I'm sure the next run will be better

yeah I'm not sure what's going on -- this week's been weird overall

I've done a fair bit of walking myself the past few weeks. I think my excuse is that I'm not hydrating enough (as hot as it is, I'm just never thirsty--I almost have to force myself to drink)

Yeah Marc - I keep telling myself that I'll get through the summer stronger. I think the 7:20s-7:30s I've been doing recently (except for today of course) translate to 7:00-ish in cooler weather. Keep it going!

Sorry to hear you had an off day! Remember to go back to the basics before every run! You gotta have a brief stretch and a bottle of water before you hit the road.....I even take a bottle of water on my short runs! Gear up and getter going today!!!

Thanks Slick - I'll get it done better today.
