???? you ok???

From timp on Wed, Feb 15, 2012 at 18:23:17 from 99.110.188.230

can't run again -

how is your foot?

From Smooth on Wed, Feb 15, 2012 at 18:25:54 from 174.27.202.70

So sorry to hear that! Bummer! :(

I got stress fracture...so can't run either!

From Rhett on Thu, Feb 16, 2012 at 10:58:29 from 170.215.58.122

Maybe you should assume you have a stress fracture like Smooth and take 3 weeks off. You guys can do it together and then it won't feel as bad.

From Smooth on Tue, Feb 21, 2012 at 17:59:00 from 174.27.219.252

How are you doing Tim? Hang in there!

From DaleG on Tue, Feb 21, 2012 at 18:01:18 from 71.199.57.238

I hope you're feeling a little better. I'm with Rhett, maybe it IS a stress fracture.

From Rhett on Thu, Feb 23, 2012 at 08:26:33 from 170.215.58.122

Tim, how are you doing? Are you cross training?

From timp on Thu, Feb 23, 2012 at 09:34:36 from 144.188.24.25

hey all - thanks for the concern.

I'm just feeling better today after several days with a stomach bug. that was miserable.

looking at maybe joining a local gym - hate to spend the money though---

From Rhett on Mon, Feb 27, 2012 at 16:54:07 from 170.215.58.122

Tim, did you join the gym or at least get back on that bike of yours? I'm cross training in honor of you and Smooth. Well actually I'm babying a mild injury in hopes of it not becoming a major thing. I'm really starting to enjoy swimming. Do you guys have a local pool you can do laps at? It's cheap, fun, and amazing exercise.

From timp on Mon, Feb 27, 2012 at 19:33:22 from 99.110.188.230

thanks for the reminder Rhett. I just joined my local club for a $9 30 day pass...no pool there but I can't swim anyway

From Smooth on Mon, Feb 27, 2012 at 19:37:06 from 174.27.219.252

$9 for 30 days is a bargain! Happy cross training! :)

We must be related...I can't swim either! :)

From timp on Tue, Feb 28, 2012 at 05:48:31 from 99.110.188.230

I haven't stepped into a gym in a few years - not sure how I'll like it, but I need something.

Hey Smooth, how's the foot coming along?

From Tom Slick on Wed, Feb 29, 2012 at 12:46:05 from 204.113.19.47

Why don't you people quit getting injured and just go out and run. Hate to hear your injured! Check it out, find the problem and get after the cure. I'm sure glad I never get injured!!!

From timp on Wed, Feb 29, 2012 at 13:27:22 from 144.188.24.33

you are truly blessed Slick :)

tons of injuries on here recently - it is crazy.

From Rhett on Fri, Mar 02, 2012 at 10:01:05 from 170.215.58.122

Tim, how's the gym been going?

From timp on Fri, Mar 02, 2012 at 10:52:38 from 144.188.24.25

need to call them - they were supposed to get back with me for an orientation

From Teena Marie on Sat, Mar 03, 2012 at 22:42:59 from 174.27.198.157

So ...

Did you call the gym?

How are you doing?

From timp on Sun, Mar 04, 2012 at 07:15:30 from 99.110.188.230

never got in contact with them but it is a 24/7 so I just went in yesterday -- had a great 60 min workout on the stairs and elliptical.

From JG on Sun, Mar 04, 2012 at 10:44:05 from 71.56.87.5

Hopefully one day soon we will both be feeling strong so we can get together and crank out a 10+ miler!

From timp on Sun, Mar 04, 2012 at 16:09:20 from 99.110.188.230

Hey JG - we'll both be back at 100% sooner than later - I have the Publix 1/2 on the 18th. Might just jog it for fun. Or try to sell my entry on craigslist....

From Tom Slick on Sun, Mar 04, 2012 at 16:24:33 from 69.171.160.196

Ya TimP - it does seem like a lot of runners have been suffering from injuries. I've had my share in the past months. Now it's time to get good and rested and healthy! Keep the faith and do it right!
