Ran before work today.  I felt fine but didn't really have much energy or anything.  I will get in another chunk tonight after my wife gets home.

I hope I feel more zippy tomorrow.  I'm not sure why I'm in the doldrums this week.  I really can't wait for race day on the 30th.

Still not sure how I'll train between the 1/2 on the 30th and the 1/2 on Thanksgiving.  I may reduce my miles a bit but not reduce the tempo and long run workouts. I have a race on Nov 6th, 10 or 15 miles (whatever I choose).  That will be a good long run day with some fast miles included. Oh - I'm rambling...

Ran at dusk when my wife got home.   A couple of the streets were so dark I couldn't see the road.  Great weather for running.  I felt a lot better tonight.  I had to tip toe in the dark a lot so that slowed me a bit.

That all sounds like a good plan to me. I busted my butt today on my run and still didn't come close to your pace. You rock!!!

Thanks Dale -

For some reason today I'm having training plan remorse, thinking I haven't done enough speed work. I have a feeling if I did more I'd get injured, but who knows. It is too late to change plans this fall, so I'll see where it leads.

I'm sure those "doldrums" are from all the mega miles you've been running lately. As you taper down you'll feel great and run the best race of your life.

I sure hope you are right, Rhett

Glad you made it out again and that it felt better. I thought about doing another run tonight, but after mowing both front and back lawns, I'm pretty pooped. I think I'll sit down and watch "American Pickers" on the History Channel. I love that show.

Dale - I'll have to watch that one of these days. I just watched Swamp People for the first time the other day. I liked it a lot better than I thought I would.
