| What a day!!!! Had to spend 24 hours in a wheel chair for a school assignment. I had planned on coming to school about an hour early so that I could use an UBE (upper body ergometer) to get in my cardio. Unfortunately it took me FAR too long to get ready in the morning (everything took at least twice as long) and I was unable to get to school early. Then I thought I would hit a wellness program for individuals with SCI and use the adaptive equipment there, but once agin I found that with each passing hour I was getting further and further behind for the day. In short, I got a good arm work-out just by wheeling everywhere but that was it. Every able-bodied individual should try this at least once. | Add Comment |
