High mileage will do that to you. The speed is there, it is just hiding behind your tired legs. You will do great when it really counts.

Good job

Wow, I can't believe you even felt like doing speed work, even if it felt slower! I totally expected to see a post that was just a recovery run. Good job Teena! :)

You sure do have a lot of miles on your legs. I bet those 600s were quicker than you are letting on. Great job getting in some speed work. Be careful with the speed with tired legs. No injuries!!!!

Nice speed work girl! You are really hitting it hard lately and feeling good and getting faster at every turn! Keep it up!

From Smooth on Tue, Apr 05, 2011 at 15:09:49 from 67.2.74.200

Wow! Speed work already! And all that high mileage to boot! Very impressive! You are going to peak just right for Ogden! SUPER EXCELLENT training, SSF!! Love you!

Rhett~

Good reminder!!! Thank you!!! I think I will take the rest of the week at an easy pace. (I ran hard today, so starting tomorrow.)

Rachel~

I do not feel like I am getting faster. But I'm hoping all of these miles will pay off and I will feel faster once I am rested somewhat. :)

SSF~

I hope you are right since I do not know when I will be able to train like this again (likely not until summer of 2014). I keep checking your blog, but no new posts. I know you are busy. I miss and love you! :)
