Pretty disappointed today.

Focal tenderness on tibia again. Blah.

I figured that since there was no pain/tenderness yesterday that I was in the clear. Should have run a shorter distance. The pace felt easy and the leg felt great, but I think I just got too greedy. I had initially told myself that I would not run more than four or five miles. I should have stuck with the plan instead of thinking all was fine.

Need to be more cautious. Also need to eat better and get more sleep. :)

Is anyone involved with or know of a race that would like a booth set up with six Physical Therapy Doctorate students from the University of Utah equipped with information (both verbal and written) regarding the most common running related injuries? (This is part of a service learning project for a class. We would like the race to be either in the Spring or Summer of 2012.)

* Thank you for all of the suggestions. We will have a booth at the Riverton Half Marathon on March 31, 2012. Hope to see you there!!! :)

Allie~

Thank you for the reassurance. I needed to hear that today. Seriously, thank you. :)

Patience is not my strong point. Sigh. But I am going to try and learn. :)

Dale~

I am supposed to run Ogden. Otherwise that might work. Ideally we would like a smaller race. :)

Oh SSF ~ I'm so sorry! allie is right. IT WILL GET BETTER and STRONGER! Thou shalt be patient! :)

There are lots of small races. What distance race are you looking for? UVM comes to mind as Hyrum Oaks is a great RD to work with. How about Riverton Half in March or Thanksgiving Point Half in April. Have you checked UtahRunning.com. It has a good lists of races in Utah.

Hope you're having a great Monday and wonderful week ahead! Love you!
