2000 meter swim

First 1600 m in just under 35 minutes. Then an additional 400 meters with several laps of pushing it hard. Felt good.

I feel like the stress fracture is healing. At least that is what I keep telling myself. :) :) :)

Thanks Allie!!! :)

I keep thinking, "super bone, super bone, super bone." :) :) :)

The tenderness upon palpation is decreasing a ton, and I am getting close to being pain-free when walking. :)

I am babying it like a crazy woman: trying to get more sleep, eating really healthy, adding more calcium in my diet, trying to bring blood to the area with heat several times a day, wearing a compression sleeve most hours, avoiding impact when possible, etc. :) :) :)

yes, super bone in the making! :)

it sounds like you are doing everything right. that's great to hear that it is already feeling better. it won't be long until you are right back in the running game!

Allie~

I hope you are right!!! :) A couple of people I know have been telling me that it is going to take months to heal and that I should not get my hopes up. However, my gut tells me otherwise. I could be wrong, but I am convinced that the positive energy cannot hurt. :)

SSF~

Thanks!!! :) I love you too AND AM SUPER PROUD of your 50 miler!!!! :) :) :)
