Race: La Verkin City Freedom Run 5K (3.13 Miles) 00:26:45, Place overall: 4, Place in age division: 2
Total Distance
3.13

Ran the La Verkin City Freedom Run 5K. Distance 3.13 miles Time: 26:45 Splits: 9:27/9:01/8:13 These may not be quite right since the miles were not marked I was just guessing from landmarks that I am familiar with when I run around town. Dustin had his garmin so he gave me the final distance which he said was a bit longer than a 5K which they are usually off in someway. I placed 4th over all and 2nd in the womens. Dustin placed 1st in both. Way to go Honey!!! He came running back to help me run the last little part at the end. What a nice husband I have. Prizes were for the 1st place only which was a In and Out Burger t-shirt and free meal--a runners dream! ha-ha-ha Did get a nice water bottle and pedometer for participating. Good race to support the City's celebration.  Now we are headed to Pine Valley for the night.
