2 miles locally. Went on the little trail in the empty lot. Tomorrow I'm running the Buffalo Run 50 miler on Antelope Island. This is my first ultramarathon. So hopefully this won't be my last blog post. My goal is to run really relaxed for the first 19 hilly miles to get a feel for the race. The next 22.5 miles are pretty flat, so I'll see if I can pick up the pace at all there. And then I'll just try to run the last 8.5 miles without dying. My dad and my mother-in-law are both worried I'm going to die. Seriously. So I'll try to prove them wrong. But if not, I can't think of a more enjoyable way to kick the bucket. |
